Landsec’s London managing director, Collette O’Shea, will also take up the company’s retail portfolio following Scott Parsons’ resignation earlier this year.
O’Shea, who joined the board of directors in January 2018, will be responsible for the company’s retail division as of today (30 April), as well as keeping her London portfolio managing director role, which she has held for more than five years.
Previously, she was the company’s head of development for six years, after spending five years as a development manager.
Before her 16-year career at Landsec, O’Shea spent 14 years at the Mercer’s Company, where was head of estates.

In a stock exchange announcement made on Parsons’ resignation in February, Landsec said he has a notice period of 12 months and “will remain at Landsec to assist transition”.
EG reported at that time that Parsons was in talks to join Argent Related, to take up the position of managing partner.
Parsons joined Landsec as business development director in 2010. He was subsequently elevated to head of property for the London portfolio, leading the investment, asset and property management teams across the office and retail sector in the capital.
He then took on the retail portfolio in 2014 and was appointed to the board at the start of last year. Parsons has also been a member Landsec’s executive and investment committees and chairman of the retail executive committee.
