Land Securities (LandSec) has sold the Burns Mall Shopping Centre in Kilmarnock to Eagle Star Life Assurance Company for well over £16.65m.
The centre, which was constructed in 1976 and extensively refurbished in 1991/1992, is the only covered scheme in Kilmarnock and comprises 29 retail units, two stores and two floors of offices.
Richard Akers, head of retail portfolio management for LandSec, said: “This disposal is consistent with our strategy of focusing the portfolio on dominant retail locations.”
Land Securities was represented by Jones Lang LaSalle, while Conroy Laurie acted for Eagle Star Life Assurance Company.
