Land Securities is the latest big name to join Investment Property Databank’s Portfolio Analysis Service.
IPD, which provides performance benchmarks for the property industry, now holds portfolio records for four of the six most highly valued property companies – Land Securities, British Land, Liberty International (CSC) and Hammerson.
Land Securities inclusion in the database has increased IPD’s coverage to over 56% of listed property companies, and will increase the total value of property companies covered by IPD from £25bn to £33bn. IPD’s indexing measures a total of £120bn of funds, which covers approximately 80% of the UK market.
The LandSec portfolio will be recorded over the next three months, and will include historic information dating back to the early 1980s.
