Landsec’s head of retail asset management resigns

Nik Porter, Landsec’s head of retail asset management, has stepped down from the company.

Porter joined Landsec in August 2021 as head of brand account management and took on the role of head of retail asset management in April 2024.

Tim Treadwell, who has spent the past two years leading Landsec’s retail investment team, has been appointed as head of the retail portfolio and will lead the retail team.

Bruce Findlay, managing director of retail, said: “Nik has been instrumental in enhancing our customer-centric approach and driving performance across our places where, across our portfolio, we now see occupancy ahead of pre-Covid levels and footfall consistently outperforms industry benchmarks. We wish Nik all the best for the future.

“As we continue to grow our investment in major retail destinations, we have united our asset and investment teams to create one retail portfolio team. This team will be led by Tim Treadwell, who has been appointed head of retail portfolio following  two years leading our retail investment team.

“The creation of this new team is an exciting step forward in our strategy and, working alongside our existing brand account management team, will ensure our retail platform is best set up for brands to flourish, for guests to enjoy spending their time and to deliver value for our shareholders.”
