LandSecs JV aims to change tax software landscape

Land Securities has teamed up with Deloitte & Touche and Flint House to develop a software package that will help UK companies with large property investment portfolios to manage tax reporting.

The package, known as Landscape, helps property companies monitor capital gains tax liability on properties and aims to provide time and cost savings by giving real-time access to post-tax information.

Ian Henderson, CEO of LandSecs, said: “It will allow improved revenues to be derived by optimising returns through the application of property-related expertise.”

LandSecs’ Richard Linell said: “The software is available now at a cost of £30,000 per annum for the basic module.”
