Landsec’s group director of corporate affairs and sustainability is leaving the landlord for a new role at Lloyds Banking Group.
Caroline Hill has worked at Landsec for five years, joining as head of sustainability in 2015.
Under her leadership, the landlord launched a raft of sustainability initiatives in November last year as part of its new sustainability strategy. It is aiming to reduce carbon emissions by 70% from a 2014 baseline, by 2030.
Before that, she worked at PwC UK for nearly four years, latterly as its chief operating officer for sustainability and climate change.
In her new role, Hill will lead Lloyds’ responsible business strategy and programmes.
Landsec is now seeking a new head of ESG and sustainability. Sustainability recruiter Acre has been appointed to lead the search.
A spokeswoman for Landsec said the landlord wished Hill “the very best in her new role”.
