London & Associated Properties has appointed Anil Thapar as finance director and group company secretary from 1 January 2015.
Incumbent finance director Robert Corry and company secretary Heather Curtis will retire at the end of the year. Corry has held the role since 1992.
Thapar has worked at LAP as group financial controller since November 2005, and has managed the finance department since July 2007.
Chief executive John Heller said: “I have worked closely with Anil for a long time. He has shown an excellent understanding of all financial aspects of the group and contributed greatly to our progress over the past nine years or so. I have no doubt that he will make an excellent finance director, and look forward to working with him in his new role”.
