LaSalle Investment Management has expanded its debt investment and special situations team with the appointments of Mike Pashley and Ali Imraan as regional director and national director respectively.
The appointments follow from the announcement that the team conducted £550m of loans across 12 deals in 2015.
Pashley was the European finance director for ARES’s European real estate platform. Before this he spent 12 years at Ernst & Young, followed by two years at Lehman Brothers.
Imraan was responsible for commercial real estate large loan underwriting for distribution and securitisation within the asset-backed finance team at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London.
Amy Aznar, head of debt and special situations at LaSalle Investment Management, said: “We experienced a fantastic 2015 with 12 deals in 12 months, and we are fortunate enough to have been able to expand the debt business at the same time. These new senior level appointments will bolster our team.”
LaSalle Investment Management’s debt and special situations team invests for its funds and clients throughout Europe and has transacted more than $2bn (£1.4m) over the past six years.
