LaSalle Investment Management has appointed Rosanna Phillips as managing director in its debt investments team.
Phillips was previously general counsel at investment firm Intriva Capital, where she oversaw legal matters in relation to the business including legal advice, risk evaluation, structuring and execution.
Before that, Phillips spent more than a decade at Linklaters, with a particular focus on European real estate finance, and was seconded to LaSalle in that role.
Phillips’ hire comes after the real estate investment manager recruited former UBS Asset Management director Kevin Kong last month as director of acquisitions for value-add investments.
Kong served as director in UBS Asset Management’s multi-managers real estate group, leading coverage of non-fund investments such as joint ventures, co-investments and fund formations.
Before that, Kong spent eight years at Meyer Bergman, latterly as senior vice president for acquisitions, where he was responsible for value-add transactions across Europe. He began his career at Citibank London within the EMEA real estate and lodging team.
Michael Zerda, head of debt and value-add strategies at LaSalle, said the additions “bring a wealth of experience and market knowledge to our growing business”.
