LaSalle Investment Management has named former Meyer Bergman acquisitions head Blake Loveless as its new head of value-add investments.
London-based Loveless will manage a team targeting higher-return real estate equity investments in Europe, leading its re-entry into the market. The company hopes to raise at least €1bn (£859m) of equity for a new special situations fund and expects a first close during the first half of next year.
Loveless spent 13 years at Meyer Bergman before founding real estate investment manager Jackyl in 2018.
