Clarion Housing Group’s development company Latimer has bought a site in Salford Quays, Greater Manchester, for a 272-flat scheme worth up to £57m.
The Furness Quay site will be Latimer’s largest development to date in the North West. It was being sold by Fortis Group through a ‘land and package’ deal.
Fortis Group’s construction company, Beaumont Morgan, will build the homes, 219 of which will be for private sale and 53 for shared ownership. The site already has planning permission.
Latimer’s scheme will form the final phase of the wider Fortis Quay development, where a total of 678 homes are being built.
