MSCI vice president of real estate Colm Lauder has been appointed by Irish stockbroker Goodbody to lead its new listed real estate coverage section within the equities research team.
Goodbody is aiming to grow its position as a listed real estate broker in the Irish market, with a role focusing specifically on real estate. Lauder is also expected to expand coverage into the UK REIT market.
Lauder joined MSCI, formerly IPD, in 2011, focusing on research in the Irish and UK markets, and subsequently taking on an EMEA-wide role. He was involved in the introduction of the REIT regime in Ireland in 2012.
He will start in October.
