Laura Ashley will live to trade another day after securing a £20m loan.
The high street retailer had a difficult Christmas with sales down 11%, meaning that the credit limit on its £20m asset-backed loan from Wells Fargo was cut.
The issue has now been resolved, with shares in the floral-pattern specialist rising 45%.
Even with that bump, Laura Ashley is still only valued at £17.5m.
It has 155 shops across the UK.
