Laura Ashley, which this weekend opens its biggest-ever store in Atlanta Georgia, is turning its attention to Britain. It plans three superstore openings in Warrington, Cheshire, Gateshead, Tyne & Wear and Cardiff, South Wales before the end of the year.
Property sources say the Warrington store is expected to take up 929 sq m (10,000 sq ft), adding that the company is considering larger stores of up to 2,323 sq m (25,000 sq ft).
