Laura Ashley have agreed to take an 8,500-sq ft unit in the £60m Castle-court shopping centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The store will be their largest in the United Kingdom outside London and their first in Ulster.
The preletting comes just a few weeks after Debenhams announced that they plan to open a 90,000-sq ft department store in the John Laing Developments’ scheme.
Joint letting agents for the 325,000-sq ft centre are Bernard Thorpe and Osborne King & Megran.
