Lavender scents approval for 317-bed Birmingham PBSA scheme

Lavender Property Group has received a recommendation for approval for its plans to build a 317-bed purpose-built student accommodation scheme in Birmingham.

The development involves building two blocks, of five and six storeys, on a car park fronting Cecil Street and Cliveland Street.

The accommodation will comprise 192 studios and 125 beds in clusters of five, nine and 12 bedrooms.

The proposals also include amenities such as a games room, gym, laundry, courtyard garden areas and cycle parking spaces.

The plans will be discussed in a Birmingham City Council planning meeting next week.
