Law firm Latham & Watkins has signed for an extra 23,600 sq ft at Hammerson’s 99 Bishopsgate, EC2.
The firm has signed a 10-year lease at the 26-storey building, where rents start from £45 per sq ft. The space was formally occupied by Deutsche Bank.
Latham & Watkins already has 10 floors at the property, totalling 101,080 sq ft.
Nick Cline, Latham & Watkins’ London office managing partner, said: “Our decision to acquire more office space at 99 Bishopsgate is indicative of the importance the firm places on the London office, the growth of the office to meet the needs of our clients and our plans to continue this expansion in to the future.”
CBRE advised Hammerson; Savills acted for the tenant.
