Law firm Slater & Gordon is to take space at 22 Station Road in Cambridge, part of the CB1 quarter.

Developer Brookgate said that the firm would take 5,400 sq ft on the fourth floor of the 64,800 sq ft, five-storey office building, which would then be fully let.

It would be joining Mott MacDonald, which had already signed up for a 44,500 sq ft office on a 25-year lease, and Birketts Solicitors, which had taken 15,000 sq ft on a 20-year lease, Brookgate said.

The building is a key component of CB1, a new city quarter that will comprise homes, business space, shops and leisure facilities.

Sven Töpel, chief executive of Brookgate, said: “We are pleased to welcome Slater & Gordon to this thriving business community at CB1.  The high level of interest in 22 Station Road, resulting in the building being fully let, within weeks of completion, highlights the attractiveness of both CB1 and Cambridge to market-leading companies.”

Brookgate was advised by Bidwells and Savills.
