Private equity group Alchemy Partners is weighing up injecting funds into hotels group Le Meridien.
Alchemy would provide the funding if Le Meridien’s banks write down the value of their loans.
Alchemy is considering the financing in tandem with Guy Hands’ Terra Firma investment fund, which has offered to invest more than £100m in Le Meridien.
