Lee Valley plans £400m resi-scheme at Tottenham Hale

Lee Valley Estates has lodged an application for a £400m residential scheme in Tottenham Hale, north London.

Haringey Council is considering the application for Hale Village, to be developed on the former GLS site located beside the River Lea, adjacent to Tottenham Hale Station.

Plans include 1300 new homes, a primary school, student accommodation, a supermarket, restaurants and cafés, a hotel, community health centre, fitness centre, a crèche and children’s play area.

In line with the latest amendments to the London Plan, currently under consultation, the scheme will feature its own combined heat and power facility to reduce carbon emissions,

Jon Polledri, a director of Lee Valley Estates, said: “Politicians rightly argue for the latest in environmental technology but we believe that consumers are also attracted to live in developments with sound green credentials.

“Hale Village will deliver high quality housing while bringing new amenities into the area for local people as well as new residents.

“The scheme will also provide an important location for the business community and we are in active discussions with potential operators who are interested in Hale Village.”

Hale Village will create new routes through the area, with direct links to the Ferry Lane Estate and the Lee Valley Regional Park.
