WATCH: Business leaders in Leeds say the city doesn’t shout loud enough when it comes to attracting investment for development.
Panellists at Estates Gazette’s latest Question Time event in the city disagreed on whether or not a high-profile leader would help solve the problem.
But all agreed that Leeds lacked a co-ordinated strategy going forward.
Savills development director, Matthew Jones, said: “I think to give investors the confidence to come into Leeds in greater numbers, we need to sell ourselves a hell of a lot better across the country, and down in London.”
