Leeds-based Town Centre Securities has received planning permission for a 70,000 sq ft office on Whitehall Road in the city.
The development forms part of the TCS Whitehall Riverside scheme (pictured), which includes 300,000 sq ft of offices, a 500-space multi-storey car park and a public realm.
Work on the scheme will begin later this year, subject to prelets, for which negations are underway.
Edward Ziff, TCS chairman and chief executive, said: “We are delighted to have secured planning permission for the next phase of development in our Whitehall Riverside Scheme in Leeds and to have done so before the new community infrastructure levy was put in place.
“The site is in a strategic position and has excellent access. We look forward to significant progress being made over the next year.”
