Leeds scoop for MEPC

In the biggest single letting seen in Leeds this year, the Benefits Agency has signed for 19,900 sq ft at MEPC’s Trevelyan Square on Boar Lane.

The deal was struck at a rent said to be £17 per sq ft with between three and six months rent-free. A break at year 15 is written into the 25-year lease. The agency will take possession this month in the second stage of its relocation from London.

Trevelyan Square, with the adjoining Ambler House, total 72,000 sq ft. Grenville Smith & Duncan and Knight Frank & Rutley are acting for MEPC Investments. The PSA advised the Environment Secretary.
