Leeds’ Thorpe Park signs two more occupiers

Leeds’ 270-acre Thorpe Park has signed up two more occupiers to 32,500 sq ft of space.

Clothing retailer Republic has moved its head office from nearby Knottingley to a 22,500 office building while software company AttentiV has taken 10,000 sq ft at the park.

Rents at Thorpe Park are around £18 per sq ft.

The deals mean Thorpe Park has found occupiers for nearly 250,000 sq ft this year, with Northern Foods (25,000 sq ft), construction company LNT (22,500 sq ft), civil engineers Hewlett (22,500 sq ft), office space provider Business Homes (40,000 sq ft) and a David Lloyd health club (80,000 sq ft) all taking space on the park.

“The southern sector of the park is now completely developed out and we have begun to work on next phases of development which will account for 1.3 million square feet of office space.

“This makes Thorpe Park the third largest office park in the country. Our continued success at attracting such prestigious companies such as AttentiV and Northern Foods will ensure we reach capacity well ahead of schedule,” said Deborah Doyle, Director of Thorpe Park (Leeds).

DTZ and Knight Frank are joint agents at the park.
