Restaurant and bar company Leelex has secured a Notting Hill location for its new concept.
The 5,970 sq ft space at 186 Portobello Road, W11, will be home to a distillery, pub and restaurant on a 20-year lease.
Gin tasting and creation bar Ginstitute will be in the 1,309 sq ft basement, while the brand’s own Portobello Road Gin will also be produced on site.
The ground floor will be turned into a pub called the Resting Room and the first floor will house Gin Tonica, a tapas restaurant based on Leelex-owned Pintura in Leeds.
Shelley Sandzer acted on behalf of the tenant.
Ged Feltham, CEO of Leelex Ltd, said: “Our heritage has played an important factor in the success of the brand and it was incredibly important for us to secure this site in Notting Hill.
“Shelley Sandzer was exceptional in helping us to achieve this. They acted with confidence and a great understanding of our brief and we believe that we can create something very special for London here.”
Leelex is due to open in November.
