Leicester’s Haymarket Shopping Centre is set for a £40m revamp in plans unveiled by Leicester Centre Properties. LCP will redevelop half the mall to provide 14,500m2 (156,600 sq ft) of extra retail space, including a 3,688m2 (39,700 sq ft) anchor store and 32 shops and kiosks. The upper levels will provide 6,235m2 (67,000 sq ft) for a cinema, healthclub and bars.
