Leisure deal bowls in to Cardiff

Cardiff-Millennium-Plaza-300pxMansford Real Estate has secured a deal with leisure operator QLP which will see a new bowling, laser quest, diner and bar open at its Cardiff Stadium Plaza development, next to the Millennium stadium.

QLP has signed a 25-year lease for the 22,000 sq ft Cardiff Superbowl facility which will open next year at the 160,000 sq ft scheme.

It has agreed a rent of £132,500 pa.

Mansford has already secured a 14-screen Vue cinema and Pure Gym at the scheme and will shortly announce a further letting to a leisure operator to anchor the ground floor.

QLP is led by leisure entrepreneur David Quintaince.

He said: “We will be providing leading-edge facilities not currently available in the city centre and will be appealing particularly to families and the student market. It’s next door to a world-famous stadium and right at the heart of the city’s exciting regeneration zone, so we’re very confident about its success.”

QLP was not advised; EJ Hales acted for Mansford.
