Lend Lease Corporation’s chief financial officer, Roger Burrows, has announced plans to leave the Australian developer in March after 20 years with the company.
Current chief executive of investment management Steve McCann will take over as group finance director. He will also retain his investment management position.
Burrows, who became chief financial officer in 2004, said he had decided to leave Lend Lease to “undertake further international business studies and pursue other corporate opportunities”.
Lend Lease group managing director and chief executive Greg Clarke, said: “Roger has had a long career with Lend Lease and has been a valued member of the executive management team.
“Since becoming CFO in 2004, he has been integral as one of the central architects in refining the group’s strategy and effectively repositioning Lend Lease in the market.”
He added: “Under his leadership, Roger has also driven many changes to establish clear financial controls, the robust capital management discipline that now underpins the company’s growth strategy, and put in place a very effective medium to long term debt program.”
