LendInvest, has appointed Steve Larkin to officially launch the company’s first development finance service.
Larkin joins LendInvest after a 26 years at RBS, where he held senior roles in real estate credit, restructuring and origination. Most recently, he spent four years as head of residential development in the restructuring team.
Larkin will be responsible for the structure and strategy behind the service and will be supported by two new business development managers.
He said: “It’s an exciting time to join a fast-growing leader of the alternative lending market. The sub-£10m development market is where fast-moving bridging specialists have the best chance to achieve scale quickly. Not only does LendInvest already have over eight years’ experience in this space, this is a sector that is ripe for technology transformation.”
