Lendlease has signed a development agreement with Haringey council for the redevelopment of High Road West in Tottenham, N17.
The estate regeneration scheme, next to the redevelopment of White Hart Lane stadium, is separate to the Haringey Development Vehicle, a controversial partnership between Lendlease and the council.
The redevelopment of the Love Lane estate and surrounding areas will include more than 2,500 homes alongside public space and community facilities.
The first phase of construction is expected to start later this year.
GVA was appointed in April 2015 to advise on the delivery structure, site assembly strategy and procurement options for a residential-led, mixed-use masterplan for the site, before advising the council on the tendering process.
Oliver Maury at GVA said: “This development agreement between Haringey and Lendlease represents a significant milestone in the delivery of much-needed housing and jobs in the area.
“It is a strong endorsement of GVA’s experience in working with local authorities to unlock complex and challenging regeneration projects.”
