Leonard Cheshire relocates to Vauxhall

Leonard Cheshire Disability is relocating to a Warner Estate’s building in Vauxhall from its offices at 30 Millbank, SW1.

The charity, which campaigns to change attitudes to disability and supports disabled people worldwide, has taken a 16-year lease on the newly refurbished 21,700 sq ft office building at 66 South Lambeth Road, SW8.

Warner Estate has just completed a major £1.45m refurbishment of the building which had previously been occupied by Save The Children Fund for 25 years.

Mark Peace, Senior Asset Manager at Warner Estate, said: “The substantial refurbishment we undertook at 66 South Lambeth Road has brought a new lease of life to the building and is one of the reasons we were able to provide Leonard Cheshire Disability with the quality and quantum of space they required to further their good work.

“The occupancy rate across the City and West End offices in our portfolio remains very strong and we are encouraged by the level and extent of interest we have received from tenants and owner occupiers alike, particularly given our strategy of improving and upgrading existing stock.”

NB Real Estate advised Warner; Tuckerman represented Leonard Cheshire Disability.
