Leonard Lewis, founder of the River Island high-street fashion chain, is to launch a new retail concept aimed at filling the gap in the £25bn gift market.
Lewis’s first store in the chain, called S F Cody’s Emporium, will open at the Trafford Centre in Manchester on September 10. This will be followed with a store at the Bluewater Park in Dartford, Kent and up to 60 large stores of (6,000 sq ft) nationwide – and a further 60 smaller outlets – over five years.
