LEP unlocks £32m Leeds Hilton

The Leeds city region Local Enterprise Partnership has backed a £32m Hilton Hotel project in Leeds with £4.8m of funding.

The hotel, on Portland Crescent,  was proposed to cater to the influx of visitors to the First Direct Arena.

The Growing Places funding will go towards a 206-bedroom, 14-storey hotel with a sky-bar, owned and built by GB Group and operated by Hilton as a franchise.

It is understood to be modelled around the “new generation” of Hilton Hotel, a four-star concept used in Manchester.
