Northbrook Technology NI, a subsidiary of Allstate Insurance, has taken the last remaining space at Dunloe Ewart’s speculatively built Nine Lanyon Place, Belfast.
In the biggest letting in Belfast this year, Northbrook has signed for a 10-year lease at £167 (I£210) per sq m (£15.50 (I£19.50) per sq ft), setting a record rent for the city.
The company will take 6,503 sq m (70,000 sq ft) of space in the 13,935 sq m (150,000 sq ft) building, which is also home to Japanese computer manufacturer Fujitsu.
The £30m (I£38m) building is in the regenerated Laganside area and on the same site as the Waterfront Hall, the Belfast Hilton and BT Northern Ireland’s corporate HQ.
Insignia Richard Ellis Gunne acted for Dunloe Ewart.
