Legal & General has appointed Rosie Toogood as chief executive of its modular housing division, replacing Nick Frankland who had been in charge there for a year.
The insurer’s plant near Leeds had initially been scheduled to produce its first home a year ago, however the project has suffered a number of delays.
A spokeswoman for the company said it was not rushing and wanted to get it right. A prototype home has been made and is at a site in south England.
