Legal & General has secured three planning green lights in a month which will see it develop 450 homes through its Inspired Villages business.
It has been given the go-ahead for 130 homes in Turvey, Bedfordshire (pictured), with a development end value of £60m.
Ledian Gardens phase two approval will see a further 50 homes at the scheme in Kent.
It follows planning consent for 270 at L&G’s former headquarters in Kingswood last month.
Jamie Bunce, chief executive of Inspired Villages, said: “Our retirement village model focuses on holistic wellbeing and creating supportive communities that help over 65s live healthier, more independent lives.
“This has never been more important than in these challenging times with an NHS and social care system under even more severe strain.”
