Liberty International says Ian Durant has been formally appointed as finance director.
His appointment to the position was first announced in March following the departure of finance director Aidan Smith.

He was a director of US-based transport group SeaContainers Services.
Liberty International said Durant currently holds a directorship with Green King, and past directorships include Thistle Hotels and Westbury.
