Specialist retail and leisure agency Lightlease has hired Erin Peyman, head of acquisitions and estates at Itsu, as a new director.
Peyman, who was also a quarterfinalist on TV competition MasterChef UK this year, joined Itsu in September 2017 as head of acquisitions before becoming head of acquisitions and estates in February.
She will join Lightlease at the start of November, where she will lead key client accounts including Fitness Space, Kiko, Mango, McDonald’s and Nespresso.
Before joining Itsu, Peyman was UK acquisition manager at Carluccio’s. She has also held roles at DTZ, McDonald’s and Specsavers.
Tom Pope, managing director of Lightlease, said “Erin’s experience as a retailer is invaluable and something we currently do not have”, adding that her experience in F&B, leisure and retail as an agent and a retailer “made her our number one choice”.
Peyman added: “I look forward to working with so many great brands.
“Lightlease is an exciting new business with enormous potential and something I could not refuse to be part of.”
Pope, formerly a director at Time Retail, launched Lightlease in May.
The business operates out of London and Paris, pioneering software that provides real-time updates on site sourcing, lease negotiations, legal and fit-out processes.
Peyman will be the agency’s third director alongside Pope and Anick Lorente, former head of leasing at Unibail-Rodamco.
