Lingerie retailer Bravissimo agrees deal for new office

Lingerie retailer Bravissimo has agreed a 10-year deal to lease new office space at Tachbrook Park in Leamington Spa.

Bravissimo, which is already based in the West Midlands town and employs some 600 people, has agreed to sublet 14,500 sq ft at 1 Athena Drive from Co-operative Energy, which closed and vacated the property in May 2019.

The British Pregnancy Advisory Service has also agreed a 10-year lease for 7,600 sq ft at neighbouring 2 Athena Drive.

Tom Bromwich, founding partner of Bromwich Hardy, which acted for Co-operative Energy on both deals, said the transactions showed that companies were still actively seeking the highest quality office accommodation.

“Both these sites offer superb office space with all the associated infrastructure and fittings you would expect, in an excellent location and with a modern, skilled workforce to hand. Both tenants will be carrying out a comprehensive refurbishment of their buildings to create a high-quality, vibrant workspace,” he said. “As companies review their office portfolios in the wake of the pandemic, this sort of office space is in huge demand, and we expect to see this trend continue despite the economic uncertainty we are currently experiencing.”

Avison Young also acted on the deal.
