Linkcity appoints new UK managing director

Developer Linkcity has promoted Axel Boutrolle to managing director, replacing Nicolas Guérin.

Guérin, who has been managing director since 2012, has left to “pursue another opportunity outside the group”.

Boutrolle was previously deputy managing director at the company, focusing on residential, urban regeneration and student accommodation projects.

Boutrelle has been with Bouygues Group for 26 years, including 24 in the UK. LinkCity is the UK development arm of Bouygues Group.

Fabienne Viala, chair of Bouygues Construction UK, said: “Linkcity is a key part of our business in the UK and I look forward to working closely with Axel as we look to grow our property development activities further.

“I would like to thank Nicolas for developing Linkcity and turning it into a successful and sustainable business and for his great contribution to the wider Bouygues Group.”

Boutrolle said: “My ambition is to identify new opportunities and develop existing partnerships, particularly in urban regeneration, helping landowners unlock maximum value from their sites.”
