LinkedIn has appointed Colliers International to find it a new London base of 80,000-100,000 sq ft to facilitate its expansion.
Its search is expected to take in Old Street, EC1, and east London, then move further out if nothing appropriate is available. It will consider both prelets and existing space. The social networking firm currently occupies just under 50,000 sq ft in AXA Real Estate’s Castlewood House, 77-91 New Oxford Street, WC1, paying just under £45 per sq ft.
It occupies floors five to eight, as well as some space on the first and second floors. The firm has the option to activate a break clause in its lease in mid-2018.
