Littlewoods, the high street retailer, has paid £35m for a site at Burton Upon Trent for its major new national distribution centre. The 27,870 sq m (300,000 sq ft) facility will be built on a 6.88ha (17 acre) site purchased from Bass Developments at the Centrum 100 Business Park. Hillier Parker and Rushton Kickman are agents to the scheme.
