Liverpool gives go-ahead for 420-home resi scheme

Proposals for a residential development on the corners of Blackstock Street, Bevington Bush and Paul Street in Liverpool have been unanimously approved at a planning committee meeting today.

The move is in line with the officer’s recommendation.

Developer WF Doyle will bring forward four residential blocks of between eight and 10 storeys, delivering a total of 420 flats.

The scheme, designed by Diaz Associates, will comprise one- and two-bedroom flats, alongside 15,600 sq ft of commercial space on the ground floors.

There will be a residents’ foyer and cycle store on the ground floor of each block.

Landor advised the developer on planning.
