Liverpool ONE sales up 15%

liverpoolONE-THUMB.jpegGrosvenor has posted a 15% increase in year-to-date sales at the Liverpool ONE shopping centre.

Footfall so far this year is also up by 4% versus last year, with sales across clothing, accessories and jewellery up 20%.

Michael Kors opened its first store in Liverpool ONE in October, with Zara launching a 27,000 sq ft regional flagship at the same time.

Radley and Cath Kidston also relocated within the centre.

Grosvenor director of portfolio management Miles Dunnett said: “Liverpool ONE’s performance in the first quarter of the year continues the momentum set in 2014. The most recent additions to our offer are clearly delivering what the North West wants, which also coincides with a growth in consumer confidence in the region.

“90% of the brands we have added in the last two years are new to the region, and results such as these are their reward.”
