Planners in Liverpool have granted consent to two residential towers to be built on the city’s waterfront.
Investec Bank and contracter Vinci plan to develop the scheme on Sefton Street at the city’s Queen’s Dock. It will comprise a block of 15 storeys and one of 13 storeys, containing a total of 192 flats.
The site has been subject to previous tower plans, including proposals by the Taittinger family.
Consent for a single 22-storey tower was granted in 2006 and again in 2009, prior to Investec taking control of the site, but development did not begin.
