The former head of commercial real estate finance at Santander has joined LJ Partnership as a managing director.
Susan Geddes will head the structured real estate finance team, which the company is looking to expand with further appointments.
She left Santander last year, having been instrumental in developing the bank’s real estate finance business over the course of a decade.
LJ Partnership has continued to expand its real estate portfolio, growing to around $6.5bn across a mix of European assets, including London residential, pan-European hotels and German student housing.
Andrew Whelan replaced Geddes as managing director of real estate finance at Santander.
