Lloyd’s of London attempts to overturn US injunction as tomorrow’s deadline approaches

Lloyd’s of London will make a last-ditch attempt in a US court today to overturn an injunction against its £3.2bn reconstruction proposals that 34,000 names have to accept by noon tomorrow. Lloyd’s is appealing against a ruling by a court in Virginia in favour of 93 US names who are demanding more information about the proposals. Lloyd’s said on Monday that 75% of the 34,000 names had already agreed to reconstruction proposals.
