Lloyds appoints Wheldon

Lloyds_Bank_NewcastleLloyds Bank has appointed Andrew Wheldon as director in the listed clients team of its commercial real estate division.

Wheldon joined from CBRE, where he was head of residential debt and structured finance.

He originated £750m of development, bridging and investment loans last year at the adviser.

He previously worked at RBS as head of central London residential origination and was head of London development and asset management at Capita for seven years before that.

Ian Goldsworthy, head of listed clients for commercial real estate at Lloyds Bank, said: “Andrew’s broad experience in leadership roles for both major financial institutions and advisers is a great complement for our multi-disciplinary practice.”

Wheldon was a professional rugby player for Leeds for four years before joining Capita in 2002.
