FINANCE: Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has hired Deutsche Pfandbriefbank’s Madeleine McDougall as head of origination in its global corporate real estate business.
McDougall previously led PBB’s international client team in the UK, and led transactions on behalf of investors including KKR, Blackstone, BlackRock and Orion.
She has previously held positions in the origination teams of Eurohypo and WestImmo, and Trillium while under the ownership of Land Securities.
She replaces Barry Fowler, who left in June to take up a role as head of the expanded Aviva Commercial Finance business.
John Feeney, managing director and global head of corporate real estate, said: “We’re delighted to bring Maddie to Lloyds Bank. She will drive new business activity and deepen our engagement with both target and existing clients.
“She has a strong track record in origination having delivered a series of major deals and will bring new solutions to our already strong client relationships. She will work closely with our distribution teams, delivering both the Lloyds Bank balance sheet and a range of other funding options.”
