Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed it is negotiating the sale of Halifax Estate Agencies to LSL Property Services.
The estate agency business it is selling has 218 branches around the North and the Midlands, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The banking group is thought to view the estate agency business as non-core.
